Questions
How am I charged?
Per token, or per second of audio, per character or per image on a model priced that way, at the prices of the provider that answered your request, from prepaid credit, with no markup. Every response reports its cost in US dollars in usage.cost.
What is the service fee?
A fee of 5.5%, at least $0.80, is added on top when you buy credit. There is no fee per request and none on tokens.
What happens when my balance runs out?
A request to a paid model answers 402 insufficient_credits. Free models still answer. Add credit, or turn on auto top-up to charge a saved card whenever your balance falls below your threshold.
Are failed attempts charged?
No. When a provider fails and another answers, you pay only the provider that answered, and the failed attempts cost nothing.
Can I pick providers?
Yes. Name them in provider.order to try them in your order, or in provider.only to use no others. Add :floor to a model's name, or send provider.sort "price", to try the cheapest first.
Can I keep requests in the EU?
Yes, on every plan. List the EU providers' tags, which end in /eu, in provider.only. If none of them can answer, the request is refused and sent nowhere else.
Do you train on my data?
Each provider declares whether it trains on prompts and how long it keeps them. Send provider.data_collection "deny" or provider.zdr true, or set your organization's data policy on the console's Prompt logs page, and only providers that qualify are used. Such requests are never kept in llm.buzz's prompt logs.
How do discounts and free periods work?
A provider can take a whole percent off its prices for a set period; requests it serves are priced at the discounted price, and the site shows the original struck through. With the next gateway release a discount of 100% makes a provider free until the period ends, up to a cap on free use per account.
Can I get a refund?
You can refund a purchase from the Credits page for 24 hours after the payment, for credit you have not spent. The service fee is not refunded. After that, purchased credit is not refundable.
What does Business include?
